Levallois-Perret, July 28, 2022. Micropole, an international consulting group specializing in Data-driven business transformation, reported first-half 2022 sales of 65.6 million euros, up 8.6% (7.3% at constant scope and exchange rates) on the 60.4 million euros reported for the same period in 2021. Second-quarter sales came to 32.1 million euros, up 5.5%.
In France, revenues grew by a limited 2.7% in the first half. This period was marked by a very high level of vacation entitlements accumulated during the COVID period and due to be paid out before May 31. This had a very significant negative impact on revenues of around 2.6% for the half-year. First-half revenues in the Benelux countries were up 6.6%, but were also strongly impacted by vacations and a strain on resources. Lastly, business in Switzerland continued to grow over the half-year at 23.7% (16.6% adjusted for currency effects).
The Group's strategy of increasing its added value is confirmed with a further increase in its ARR for the first half (+1.7%). The other main indicators are also improving, namely the headcount (7.9%) and the employment rate (+1%).
Demand remains very strong but the pressure on resources does not allow us to benefit fully from it. Micropole is nevertheless maintaining its medium-term ambitions, particularly in terms of profitability, and remains confident about the future development of the markets in which the Group is positioned.
The next financial meeting will take place on Thursday September 22, 2022, for the publication of the results for the first half of 2022.
