On October 1 and 2, Micropole, a Talan company, took part in the 2025 edition of Big Data & AI Paris, which over the years has become the benchmark event for digital transformation through data and artificial intelligence. For this 13ᵉ edition, renamed Innovative Minds, the event brought together the elite of the ecosystem: major companies, startups, decision-makers and experts who came to share their visions and feedback.
In this context, Micropole, a Talan company, showcased Scoring.AI, its startup specialized in AI applied to scoring and machine learning. Located at the heart of the startup area, the team welcomed numerous visitors eager to understand how to perpetuate their predictive models and gain robustness in constantly evolving technological environments.
AI and machine learning: extending the life of predictive models
One of the highlights of the show was a talk by Tanguy Le Nouvel, Director of Data Science, on the theme: "ML scoring models: how to make them immortal? Ownership and Portability assured with Scoring.ai". The talk illustrated a major problem encountered by companies: the fragility of models in the face of Python library updates.
Scoring.AI demonstrated how its solution automatically generates pure Python code based on Pandas and NumPy, guaranteeing total portability, simplified maintenance and increased transparency. Through demonstrations and case studies, the team showed how to disengage models from software dependencies and turn them into real levers of sustainable performance.
