Operating on several continents, our customer juggles the complexities of international markets, currency diversity and the management of a global customer base and operations. In addition, the group is supported by a team of specialists in over 20 offices worldwide.
In order to meet the growing demands of the industry, companies need to increase their responsiveness to market fluctuations and optimize their services. To achieve this, financial management is a major challenge, particularly compensation management. It has to deal with a variety of local regulations, multiple currencies and complex, country-specific compensation structures.
To optimize its payroll management process, the company decided to implement an EPM solution, with three major challenges in mind:
- Centralization of data from existing information systems (ERP, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
- Optimize decision-making processes by structuring, centralizing and harmonizing data to facilitate decision-making.
- Real-time simulations to provide controllers and management with a tool to model the impact of salary decisions in real time.
Method
Micropole was chosen to implement their new compensation planning and control tool.
In order to choose the best EPM solution for our customer, we summarized the needs expressed during the workshops, structured them, created a data mapping and compared the different solutions available on the market.
