How Micropole helped Veolia deploy an AWS and GCP Multi-Cloud solution

Our approach
Micropole implemented a ten-day intervention aimed at optimizing AWS Data Managed Services for Veolia. The main objective was to improve the performance and efficiency of the key tools used in their data architecture.
- Optimization of the Data Warehouse, based on Amazon Redshift, has improved data management by optimizing queries and table structure, leading to a significant reduction in processing times and improved scalability of the infrastructure.
- Optimizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) with AWS Glue has ensured a smoother, more automated data flow, by improving the integration of different data sources and facilitating their transformation before loading them into the data warehouse.
This intervention made processes more agile and responsive to changing business needs, while reducing operational costs through better management of cloud resources. Veolia was able to enhance the reliability, performance and scalability of its data systems while taking full advantage of AWS managed services, ensuring an infrastructure ready for future challenges.

Theoptimization was supported by AWS POA (Proof of Action) funding, a program that enabled Veolia to benefit from AWS credits to support the implementation of optimization actions. This funding facilitated rapid adoption of the recommended solutions, while guaranteeing a rapid and measurable return on investment.
