AWS has struck hard in the field of artificial intelligence with the launch of its own Foundation Model, dubbed Amazon Nova.
Nova versions :
- Nova Micro: designed for text processing.
- Nova Lite: a multimodal, economical model.
- Nova Pro and Nova Premier: high-performance models for advanced uses.
With costs reduced by up to 75% compared with competing models (such as GPT or Gemini), Nova promises increased accessibility to AI technologies.
Use case with Nova :
- Nova Canvas: an image generator that outperforms solutions such as DALL-E or Stable Diffusion.
- Nova Reel: an advanced platform for video creation, offering impressive features such as camera movement and 360° rotation.
Coming soon: AWS has also announced Speech-to-Speech and Any-to-Any models, paving the way for universal interactions between different media types.
Analytics: towards simplified data orchestration
SageMaker Unified Studio
This new unified platform aims to simplify AI and Data workflows.
A direct response to competing solutions such as Microsoft Fabric, it enables all AI projects to be managed from a single interface.
Zero-ETL for SaaS
AWS aims to eliminate the complexity of ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes by introducing a solution that directly connects SaaS applications. The result: time savings and greater efficiency for data teams.
