Bonafontis is the Mexican subsidiary of the Dannone group, dealing with its Beverage business. A leader in the Mexican market, Bonafont wished to streamline and standardize the consolidation of its total income statement and to be able to segment it per brand and per customer.

Created in 2004, GIMS is the Société Générale branch in charge of private banking, asset, securities and brokerage management.

The issue: to have reliable and unified information at budget, monthly income and forecast levels for all units.

“The project centered partly on the modeling of general expenses, explains Karim Hajjaji, Chief Operating Officer of the GIMS branch of the   Société Générale. It was modeled by  Micropole in a multidimensional base. The model is transposed in a homogenous way, while taking into account the specifics of personnel costs. The emphasis was also placed on the correlation between general expenses and headcount. Moreover, the Run and Change distinction enabled us to build forecasts and to follow-up on them per project.  Finally, we standardized the models to make synergy and time gains, and to obtain a unified and shared view.”
