Since early 2011, Micropole has been on a big recruitment drive to bolster its middle-management tier throughout France, Belgium and Switzerland.
The goal is to recruit 450 new employees, 40% of whom will be for senior and expert positions, for its three biggest divisions:
In addition to their experience and skills, these managers will be recruited for their capacity to adapt, sense of responsibility, autonomy and ability to construct and innovate on varied projects, all while supervising project teams. “We believe it is very important that our future employees be adaptable, service-oriented and innovative, as well as displaying considerable know-how”, says Nathalie Choux, HR Director of Micropole. With this in mind, in addition to using traditional methods, Micropole is increasing the opportunities for future employees and operational teams to meet, through trade fairs, 'job dating' and specially organised evenings combining food tastings, a cooking masterclass and recruitment!
The plan has proved very successful since, as at June 2011, 250 people had already signed a contract!
