Opening of Micropole North: 60 positions created

Micropole-Univers rounds out its regional cover by opening its Northern agency in Lille.

Micropole-Univers, a European Consulting, Engineering and Training company, specialized in BI, Web and IT, ERP and CRM, has strong regional outreach in France. Its agencies, based in Paris, Nantes, Rennes, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Aix-en -Provence and Lyon, enable both local partnering to large National corporations and investment in regional economic structures.
Micropole’s Paris-based service offer caters to many clients in the north of France, especially major players in the mail order and retail (Super/Hypermarket) sectors. Financial service, Banking and manufacturing companies as well as SMEs, are also included among our growing number of loyal customers.

"The Lille agency opening was a natural extension of our current strategy, given the group’s significant growth over the last years" Cédric Pin, Executive Vice-President of Micropole-Univers, states: “Our wish is to provide real continuity of service at local level, and to propose Micropole-Univers’ full service offer to our clients. The Northern agency will gradually be reinforced and thus complete our regional network, a strategic development priority for us in 2010.”

To reach this goal, Vincent Lemoine was appointed Director of Micropole-Univers’ Northern agency, the fifth regional agency in France. With 20 years’ SSII experience in the North of France to his credit, Vincent worked with Sylis before taking over the position of Public Service North-East Divisional Sales Manager at Cap Gemini. He then managed the Northern agency of Cognitus (now S2I), before joining Keyrus in the same capacity.

“After only a few weeks, client interest for the Micropole-Univers offer is already evident. If projects signed to date concern mainly decision-support technologies and this especially for the Health and Finance sectors, the Web and IT divisions are growing in strength, with a more pronounced leaning towards reference data (MDM) and rule engines (BRMS). We are not ruling out the possibility of an SAP ERP offer as from 2011.” comments Vincent Lemoine.

To meet this objective, Micropole-Univers’ Northern agency will be launching a strong recruitment campaign, the goal being to recruit 50 -60 people within the next 3 years.
